Project Description

TOWNLAND provided Planning Consultancy Services for a Proposed Transitional Housing Development on a Temporary Basis at Kong Ha Wai, Kam Tin. This Project has a unique role in supporting the Government to deliver committed social housing (urgent temporary accommodation) in line with current Government Policy Initiatives, but also to generate Public Planning Gain by facilitating development of transitional housing in an environment that supports community interactions and a sense of place.

TOWNLAND was responsible for providing general planning advice and co-ordinating the SUCCESSFUL Section 16 Planning Application. TOWNLAND continued to provide general planning advisory services on implementation aspects of the Project, including detailed design and discharge of Planning Conditions.
