Earlier this week our CLIENT Waskita Karya Realty (WKR) was awarded the ‘Best Township Masterplan Design’ by CNBC Indonesia for the 640ha Vasaka City Development in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia.

After two years of intense collaboration with WKR’s Team, TOWNLAND’s Conceptual Master Planning Services for the Project were completed in 2020. We are pleased to have delivered the Vision and Framework for development of a SMART City which offers a mix of development products including residential, commercial, education, and mixed uses – all of which are integrated into an extensive green and blue network that promotes pedestrian and bicycle activities and supports development and climate change resilience through integrated storm water management systems.

As stated by President Director of WKR – Eri Prananto “the independent City will carry the concept of a Smart City that creates a comfortable environment for residents and improves the quality of life that is sustainable.”
