Project Description

Following on from our FIRST PRIZE winning entry for the Urban Design of Wanbo Centre (100 ha), TOWNLAND, in association with the Guangzhou Panyu Institute of Urban Architecture Design and Wai Hing Wah & Associates has been appointed to prepare Detailed Architectural Design for the Headquarter Base of Modern Information Service Industry for the Guangzhou Panyu Information Technology Investment and Development Co. Ltd.

The Information Services Industry Headquarters located on 3.5 ha of land in Wanbo Centre, Panyu, Guangdong Province, is positioned as an all-in-one large-scale Building Complex (284,373 sq m GFA) comprising various functions, including office, commercial, exhibition, leisure and entertainment uses. The Complex is multi-functional, efficient, flexible and people-oriented.

The functions of the tower building itself, comprise a Headquarters Office; R&D Centres; Commercial Offices; as well as Banqueting and Conference Halls. The functions of the annex building consist of Exhibition; Commercial; Art; Leisure; and Entertainment Facilities. Upon completion, the Information Services Industry Headquarters will be the model of new commercial office building design and development within Guangzhou.
