Eric received academic training in both Hong Kong and United Kingdom, where he obtained a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Development.  Eric is a core member of TOWNLAND’s Development Consultancy Team managing various planning studies for Hong Kong Government, Agencies and the Private Sector. Eric was principally responsible for providing planning inputs to the Planning and Engineering Review for Remaining Phase of Fanling North New Development Area and Land Use Review for the Released Sites under the relocation of Yau Tong Group Fresh Water and Salt Water Service Reservoirs to Caverns, which included the preparation of revised outline development plans and indicative layout plans. Eric is knowledgeable about study processes and well aware of the changes in planning and political contexts to provide strong and practical recommendations. Aside from planning studies, Eric has successfully managed and coordinated numerous planning applications covering an assortment of development proposals, including residential and commercial developments, utilities and infrastructures, community facilities and tourist destination. Eric also assists TOWNLAND’s Regional Team on Master Planning Projects in Mainland China.

Eric’s professional experience has enabled him to develop a sound understanding of planning principles and planning frameworks and a professional attitude to identify feasible solutions for the project and the Client. He is skilled at coordinating with the Client, Government officials and leading wide range of professionals in achieving successful outcomes for the projects.
