Townland Consultants (Int’l) Limited was commissioned by PT. Misaya Properindo to prepare a Detail Landscape Design for a proposed neighbourhood park on the 1,060 m2 (approx.) site located in the Washington Cluster in Legenda Wisata.

The base concept was to capture the grandness of Capitol Hill in Washington and to introduce a touch of American Victorian art. The Park furniture is strongly inspired by the profound impact iron made in the
early 1900’s and the pavement pattern is also taken from the classical style of that era.

At the heart of the Park is the steel structure of the conservatory which is adopted from the physical form of Capitol Hill. The conservatory is a focal point for Washington Cluster and is a landmark for the area.

Park furniture made of iron, the park lighting and iron gate afford a strong American Victorian character to the Park. The classical style also applies to the pavement pattern and the arrangement of colourful pebbles creates a lively atmosphere.

The planting concept is to create open views, framed by low level flowering shrubs and medium height
trees to create a user friendly and attractive environment with shade and colour.
