Project Description

TCL is the Co-ordinator and Team Leader of a multi-disciplinary team for this Asian Development Bank project. The objectives of the Study are to
1. identify the major parameters driving the urban growth process for Port Vila;
2. improve the legislative framework for urban planning and environmental management; and
3. provide guidelines for a sustainable form of urban development within the context of the National Conservation Strategy.

The intent is to give effect to the Government’s policy on environmental and resource management and more specifically, to improve the legislative framework for urban planning and environmental management.
