Case Studies Arising from the Study on the Restructuring of Obsolete Industrial Areas (ROBINA), Hong Kong
Project Description

The ROBINA Study, completed by TCL in 1993, outlined 3 alternative approaches to Industrial Area restructuring and recommended 3 Case Study areas to further test their practical implementation and feasibility. The Case Studies formed the basis of a recommended approach to restructuring to be applied to other obsolete Industrial Areas. The multi-disciplinary Study Team included land use planners, economists, development surveyors, traffic engineers, environmental specialists, infrastructure and structural engineers. TCL was the Project Manager and provided all land use and implementation inputs.
