TOWNLAND fosters the participation of urban and regional communities and social groups facing poverty due to labour market barriers and poor access to health and education services and an insecure housing environment. We assist through advocacy and mediation in delivering practical, community-based betterment programmes, which are gender sensitive and geared to meeting the basic needs of and securing self-starting initiatives for the most vulnerable sectors of society.
