Project Description

TCL prepared a design entry for the Ngasem Market Tourism Area in the central district of Yogyakarta. The design focused on meeting the daily needs of local residents through the provision of traditional market activities and on attracting tourists to the Market through the provision of spaces for the sale of local arts and crafts, the integration of gathering and performance spaces, and through unique architectural and landscape design.
