Project Description

This was a strategic and district level Planning Study covering the southern part of Hong Kong and Lamma Island. The purpose of this Study is to examine the opportunity for further residential development to meet the objective of providing new housing land for an additional 60,000 people by 2011, and further strategic growth areas to meet longer term development need after 2011. TCL is responsible for providing inputs to the preparation of Master Development Plans, Development Packages and Programmes for further development.
