Project Description

The Project involved the design of small scale sewerage facilities within low density suburban developments on the offshore islands in Hong Kong. A preceding study recommended various conceptual approaches to the problem and the Study was designed to assess practical feasibility through a number of typical case examples. The emphasis is upon developing practical solutions to overcome land ownership and other technical constraints to secure overall improvements to the quality of surrounding marine waters. TCL was responsible for all land use and land tenure issues.
