The Planning Committee of Hechuan City commissioned Townland to prepare a Master Layout Plan for a 600 ha Resort Town Development at Eastern Peninsula of Hechuan City of Chongqing. The Site is divided into six precincts including a Comprehensive Town Development Area / Hechuan Transit Town; Hechuan Resort; Holiday Homes; Gold Coast; Hechuan Tourism Destination; and The Peak and Country Park / Green Lung. The design aims to beautify the Peninsula which is to be comprehensively developed for homes for residents, places for workers, transit towns for drivers and destinations for tourists and recreationists. A continuous Promenade around the Peninsula will be an important feature linking the various land uses and providing a recreational outlet.
