Townland was commissioned to prepare an Indicative Framework Landscape Design for a proposed Golf Court on a 20.9 hectare site inside the Horse Racetrack at Pulo Mas Jaya, Jakarta. The Site is strategically located in the Pulo Mas Area of East Jakarta with good access ibility to the surrounding area via the inner and outer ring road (toll expressways). A Golf Court is a particular type of golf course with a combination of 4 greens and 8 tee areas that provide 18 individual holes and tees. These comfortably fit into an area of 15 acres (6 hectares). Each hole is different and varies in both perspective and length. The sequence of play is similar to a conventional golf course. The available space in the southern part of the Site (approx. 8 hectares) will comfortably accommodate a typical Golf Court. A Practice Putting, Bunker Area and other associated facilities are also provided within the Site.
