The Planning & Management Department
of Xinyang City commissioned an exciting project
for the Detail Planning Design of Shi He (Water
Lion River) of Xinyang City, Henan Province. The
River has a length of 16 km and runs through the
CBD, wetland, residential and industrial districts
of Xinyang. The Proposal adopts a River Town Concept
with a design structure of “Grid City and
Organic River” and divides the River into
seven Precincts, including River CBD, River Home,
River Work, River Park, River Resort, River Green
Lung and River Sports. The Design aims to upgrade
the River as a focal point of economic development,
landscape features, open space system and social
gathering. |
